ADOPTION INFORMATION

Adoptors must fill out an application before adopting a pet. All pets will be altered before adoption unless they are too young. If they are puppies or kittens, the adoptor must agree to have the animal altered as soon as it is old enough.

To adopt an animal a Pre-Adopt must first be filled out. You can do this one of three ways:  1) fill it out at the shelter, 2) pick one up at the shelter, take it home, fill it out there and mail it to us, or 3) copy the form and paste it into an email to us - you can fill it out in your email program. The shelter manager will look it over, do a backround check and check your other pet's veterinary records (if you have other pets).  The manager will then notify you if you get the animal you are interested in. Sometimes there are other families also asking to adopt the same pet. In this case the animal will go the home we think it is best suited for.  The animal will then be altered, get a rabies shot and all vaccinations.

All this only costs $125 for a dog and $95 for a cat.
