Adoption Guidelines
The intention of WCAHS is to match and place our pets as companion animals with compatible, responsible, and loving families. To help us achieve this, WCAHS has put together this list of guidelines that should help WCAHS staff determine who is eligible to adopt from us.
1. Individuals must:
a. Be 18 years of age
b. Have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in their household.
2. All placements are made directly to the adopters. NO pets are adopted as gifts or for a “Second party” without their knowledge.
3. Renters must know what their pet policy restrictions are prior to adopting a pet.
4. WCAHS will not adopt any animal to someone who has been convicted of a crime involving animals.
5. With our limited staff, please understand it can take anywhere from 12-48 hrs. for us to evaluate your application and respond.
